• Name and email address when you create an account
• Profile information including bodyweight, training goals, and profile photo
• Workout data including exercises, sets, reps, weight, and session notes
• Nutrition data including food logs, calorie and macro targets, and water intake
• Messages sent through the coach messaging feature
• Group activity including posts, reactions, and comments

Information collected automatically

• Device type and operating system
• App usage patterns and feature interactions
• Crash reports and performance data

Information from third parties

• Food nutrition data from the FatSecret API and Open Food Facts when you search for or scan food items

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Liftr Service
• Personalise your experience including suggested routines, analytics, and progress tracking
• Enable coach-client communication and group features
• Send you notifications relevant to your training and account
• Respond to your support requests
• Monitor and analyse usage to improve performance
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not use your personal data to serve advertisements. Liftr does not sell your data to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your coach: If you link to a coach, they can view your workout sessions, progress, and analytics to provide coaching feedback.
• With your groups: Sessions you choose to share and your group activity are visible to other members of the same group.
• With service providers: We use Supabase for database and authentication services. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only process your data on our behalf.
• For legal compliance: We may disclose your information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
